When dealing with my kids and life, I always consider ”what is best for my kids?” and I make my decisions based on the answer to that question. Being a Mom is one of the hardest things to be...

We love with our hearts, and yet we have to discipline our kids, we have to keep our kids/house in order so that our kids have an example of how to become good, responsible, loving adults.

We have to work hard every single day (yes, that means weekends too) to make sure everything is kept in order at home, all schedules are kept and everything is on time.

We are usually the last one to fall asleep at night and the first one to wake up in the morning.

If the kids get sick we have to be the doctor (even if we catch the same sickness), we have to plan parties, be a shuttle, buy groceries, make breakfast, lunch and dinner, pay bills, sometimes work a full time job in order to have the money to pay those bills, teach our kids right from wrong, teach them to love those that aren’t so lovable, help them study to get good grades in school, show them how to love God...but in doing all of that, we HAVE to take time to show them that they are loved.

We have to let our kids know just how amazing they are, spend time with them, hug them and kiss them every single day...because if you do all of the stuff to keep your kids/house “in order” but you forget to stop and love your children, have you really done what is best for them?

I love Logan (and Brella too), Trystan and Riley with all of my heart!
